Built by the FAM
A piece of what our members pay never touches a chart. It buys cement, timber and roofing sheets in a village in rural Tanzania, where a home for 30 boys is going up right now. This page is the receipt.
We teach the FAM to build generational wealth. Some of it we build with our own hands.
Through HopeCo, member money is helping raise the new City of Hope Boys' Town home: a permanent residence for orphaned and vulnerable young men, built a short walk from the school and medical center that already serve the village.

These rooms already have names on them
The young men standing inside these walls are the ones moving in. City of Hope raised them, schooled them and kept them together. The new Boys' Town home is where they take the next step: real rooms, real beds and a base to launch into work and adult life from.
Fresh timber over every room
Construction stalled for a season. It is moving again. The trusses in this photo went up plank by plank with local builders on local wages, and the roof that follows them is what turns a shell of block walls into a home. Move-in is projected for the end of 2026.
Nobody is parachuting in
The money lands in the village and stays there. Local hands cut the timber, lay the block and set every truss, which means the build itself feeds families before a single boy moves in. That is the same lesson we preach on the charts: put your money where it multiplies.

Every membership carries a brick
The build is run on the ground by HopeCo, a faith-driven 501(c)(3) that has served this community for years: schools with 558+ students, a medical center that saw 15,495 patient visits last year, and residential care for more than 700 children and young adults. SWJ members fund bricks in that story just by being here.
